I formerly led innovation at Kaiser Permanente, founding the Garfield Innovation Center. During my 19 year tenure, I led large scale transformation projects, often exploring “the future of” care models, physical spaces and technologies.
Now I work at the intersection of strategy and design, helping clients like the US Department of Health and Human Services, Feeding America and the National Cancer Institute envision new futures.
My unique background — an MBA from UC Berkeley, design training at Stanford’s dSchool and a master’s in public health — blends rigorous analysis with creative problem solving. I’m an expert in the process of innovation with a depth of expertise in health and health care.
